Today while answering a client question about video I realized through research I could change my lighting. I moved them so they light behind me right onto the green screen rather than directly onto me and then the green screen. My office is small enough that there is sufficient reflected light to keep me lit, the lights aren’t in my eyes, and my forehead isn’t over-lit. It makes it easier to see, too.
The green screen key isn’t any better and I realize now that getting a really good key is really only possible in post production vs live. Though I also wonder if I had a much higher resolution camera and then scaled down the result if it would look significantly better. This is why video is like getting a goldfish.
Everything else went well. Bunch of meetings. Got stuff done. Good day.
