We got up at 5am to get ready to begin our journey.
Everything was ready so we left a little before 6 and headed east on I-80.
Travel went smoothly except for about 3 hours of total delays due to traffic accidents we came across. In one case we think a big rig had overturned. It was cleared by the time we got to where it happened but that was a 2 1/2 hour delay in the Sierras.
Then there was about 1/2 hour of delay in Nevada from a car that had overturned.
We made it to the very edge of Nevada after a very long day.
I had the opportunity to drive the RV for a bit. It drives fine for such a large vehicle, I suppose. I much prefer my tiny Honda
