We all had breakfast at a local cafe / diner and drove back. Hinckley is a pretty small town. I understand it survived so far by being the midpoint between the Twin Cities and Duluth so travelers would stop there. Not that the overall distance is that far. 2 hours or so. MN is much smaller than California.
But the casino seems to be helping a lot now as well as far as bringing people there.
The drive back was uneventful. The weather is getting warm with temps above freezing up into the mid 40s for at least the next week. Most of the snow should be gone by next weekend.
