Day 656 – Sunday

My mother and Bob and I went to the downtown Sacramento farmers market. Good cauliflower and broccoli are harder to find. Lettuce is coming back into season. There are still good beets. There is always kale. Lots of kale. I don’t eat kale.

We had breakfast at the Tower Cafe afterwards. We got there a little before 10am and the wait wasn’t too bad. It was about 20 minutes. By the time we left the line was much longer. I had the usual Seasonal French Toast. It was delicious.

I continued working on my frivolous programming project to get the space ship to move around the screen. I tried a new game design system I had not tried before and really liked it. Read a lot about it, studied stuff, and got written what I wanted to by the end. I’m not going to take the game part any further but I’m pleased to have found a game programming tool that would work for what I want to do. And which I will not have time to do for the foreseeable future. I’m happy with that.

Back to work tomorrow.
