We did a morning run to the farmers market and got large quantities of delicious looking vegetables. There was some especially good looking cauliflower and I’m not normally a big fan of it. But I’ve been converted by the quality of what’s available locally here.
In the late afternoon I picked up my daughter Elizabeth. She arrived from Baltimore for Christmas break. It was very good to see her though I had the luxury of seeing her recently in Baltimore. She was glad to be back in Sacramento and we stopped at my mom’s to visit.
Elizabeth ate some food and chatted and after I dropped her off at her moms.
