Elizabeth had a day shift with her medical scribe job so she was out of the apartment before 7am and would be back after 4pm so the day was mine.
I had keys so after I got up, I walked 2 blocks towards campus to go to the grocery store there and pick up a few things. I thought it would be fun to surprise her with jalapeño poppers when she got home (jalapeño, cream cheese, bacon, roasted in the oven till crispy.
I also spent time working and so forth.
She had one quick errand on campus after she got home and after we sat and ate poppers and other food for dinner. She liked them and I thought they turned out especially well. Getting the bacon crispy is important.
