We are getting some nice rain today and highs are in the low 40s and lows in the high 30s. The pile of snow on the back deck is shrinking and the roof line that had it’s ice dam removed is now almost clear. We are happy there isn’t much of a chance of water damage now.
On the other hand, we are hearing stories now of people getting their basements flooding. You have snow near your house and the ground gets saturated due to melt, you may find water. My girlfriend Chris dealt with that some years ago and due to some construction fixes done then, everything should be fine now.
It’s really fun seeing all of the weather transformations here.
I believe I’m getting a cold. Hopefully I can sleep well enough and it doesn’t get too bad. I need to be healthy for some travel I’m doing next week.
