Today was hard work. I identified some leads with websites that need help due to Google Chrome complaining about their lack of SSL security certificates. Since the Fiverr.com gig for cold calling web development leads I was interested is currently closed because they got too busy, I’m looking more at doing my own outreach/prospecting whatever you call it.
Generally I dislike using the telephone, especially to people I don’t know so this has been slow to set up. Of the 6 initial contacts I identified, I realized I only had phone contacts for 3 of them. Left 3 voicemails and others didn’t have phone contacts so I emailed. One had a broken email (hmm, something else to help with) so I FaceBook messaged them. Also sent one LinkedIn Connect message.
These seemingly simple things are hard. I did some additional client work and then we had game night.
