Today I had a bunch of calls and got the store bought corned beef cooking.
The beef was pretty good. Not too salty. Decent corned beef flavor. Looking forward to the one I’m curing. Our refrigerator is pretty full here so the pot with the brisket I’m curing is in the garage where it’s below 40F all the time for now.
My calls were good. I gave advice to a woman whose previous business plan was working with NYC restaurants (they are all closed now, she needs a new plan). I have a couple more who want to work with me but want to wait a bit to see where the pandemic leads.
