We did another expedition for supplies.
We went to Sam’s which was partly disaster tourism and partly getting some supplies. One exciting find was a USDA prime grade beef brisket at $3.29/lbs. It was about 11lbs and I split it. One 1/2 for the freezer and 1/2 for house cured corned beef. It won’t be ready for Tuesday but we can have it by Friday or Saturday.
I made 2 batches of Thai curry. One to eat one to freeze. It was really good. And I’ve now run out of red curry paste. Need to remember to get more.
