Along with work I got scheduled with follow up meetings with 3 of the people I met at the event last night. The remaining two I’ll reach out with tomorrow.
I finished a bunch of stuff and cooked a really delicious pork roast in the slow cooker. I also tried out the new steamer I got yesterday.
I had been trying to steam vegetables in a plastic steamer basket that my mom uses and had not been very successful. So I got a more traditional stockpot with a steamer basket. I wanted a heavy bottom stockpot here anyway so this will be good.
It worked well. You put in water, put it on the stove, and put in vegetables and they cook. Like usual. It’s slower than the microwave way but I feel like I have more control to check stuff. It’s just a more comfortable way for me to cook.
So dinner was yummy.
