Day 348 – Sunday

I got the snowblower working. I had thought it wasn’t working for the last couple of weeks. I discovered I was starting it wrong. There were more clear instructions that I could have read that would have cleared up my confusion.

This made clearing the 3″ of wet snow on the driveway possible. Yay.

With that cleared and seeing the roads weren’t bad, my girlfriend Chris and I went to the Como Park Conservatory in St Paul. There is a glassed in palm house there, an interior “sunken” garden with a frequently changing flower arrangement, and other warm and humid environments for tropical plants and people. It’s fun to look out at the snow from inside. We realized we should have brought books to read while sitting on benches.
