I spent a long day working. I very successfully continued with one of the obvious in hindsight ideas I picked up at WordCamp last week. If I spend periods of time with my phone off and email closed and iMessage off and music on, nothing really distracts me. Yes, it should be obvious. Yes, I’m distracted and interrupted far more than I thought.
I got an article about WordCamp done for my other website (check my LinearWorlds.com blog, it will be there when you read this) and jotted down notes on where to promote it online (FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Then I realized when I posted to FaceBook and Twitter, the preview images they were pulling from my sight weren’t working right so I went and fixed that on my site for a couple of hours. There were some other equally exciting things but that is probably enough technical excitement for now.
