Spent much of the day writing the draft for an email sequence for one client and started getting feedback on another email sequence that is in testing.
Had a call with a business consultant I met on LinkedIn. The call was good and got into problems she is having marketing her business. We scheduled a followup call for next week where I’ll propose some solutions. To get to that point means the sales part of things went well so far.
I listen, I ask questions, I express understanding of what she and her business are going through. When asked I talk a bit about what I do and my philosophies on business and marketing.
I focus a lot on the importance of making a genuine connection. And I probably should work that into some of my marketing materials.
Since everyone I speak with who seem like good potential customers appreciate hearing that.
