Merry Christmas.
We had a nice Christmas breakfast and then my mom and I got food going for the rest of the day. The dinner menu wasn’t complicated so there were long patches of waiting around during which we opened family gifts. I got the best goofy Toy Story Alien gift so far.
Dinner was rib roast, mac & cheese, an interpretation of ratatouille, a root vegetable dish, brussels sprouts, a mushroom and orzo dish, and a variety of desserts. The ginger / vanilla and chocolate cream custards were very good and there was a lot left over.
Everyone had a good time. It was a pretty nice Christmas this year.
