Today was a pretty quiet day. There was some nice rain for most of the day and it is warm. There are still some piles of ice in big parking lots from snow removal but around the neighborhoods almost all of the ice is gone.
I made another batch of corned beef that turned out well. This time I used the right quantity of curing salt and it had nice coloration policy through out. Tomorrow we are planning a bunch of other cooking so I can leave my girlfriend Chris with leftovers for a few days. I fly back to Sacramento on Monday.
