Day 292 – Sunday

I had a pretty lazy morning which was nice. I got out of bed when I finally needed to start getting ready for my brunch date with daughter Catherine.

Elizabeth still has her test prep class which goes noon to 7 on weekends so Catherine and I drove her to Davis, dropped her off, and then drove back.

We wanted to try a new place “Mas Taco Bar” and it was delicious. Very reasonable prices and an exciting selection of tacos and brunch items (it was brunch time).

We had the Pork Belly, Pork al Pastor, and Chicken Chorizo y Papas tacos, Pork Pozole, Soft Corn Polenta, and Breakfast Pupusa. Then the Churros for dessert. It was all very good. Catherine’s polenta dish came out Instagram ready. The tacos were excellent. I would definitely go back.

They have a happy hour weekdays that might work for Elizabeth’s commute back from Davis so we 3 can probably make it back.

I spent some time fighting with my ability to write and eventually, with the remote help of my girlfriend Chris, conquered my insecurities for the moment and got my social media planned out for the week.

It was a pretty good day.
